Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 nori sheets (optional)
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Wash and slice the strawberries into thin pieces.
  3. Cut the nori sheets in half and lay them out on a bamboo sushi mat or clean surface.
  4. Spread a layer of cooled sushi rice onto the nori or plastic wrap, about 1/4 inch thick, leaving a small border.
  5. Layer the sliced strawberries in the center and top with a dollop of whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs.
  6. Roll the sushi away from you, using the mat or plastic wrap to guide while applying gentle pressure.
  7. Slice into bite-sized pieces with a sharp, wet knife.
  8. Serve with extra whipped cream and fresh strawberries on the side.
