Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 4 nori sheets (optional)
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions. Let it cool slightly.
- Wash and slice the strawberries into thin pieces.
- Cut the nori sheets in half and lay them out on a bamboo sushi mat or clean surface.
- Spread a layer of cooled sushi rice onto the nori or plastic wrap, about 1/4 inch thick, leaving a small border.
- Layer the sliced strawberries in the center and top with a dollop of whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs.
- Roll the sushi away from you, using the mat or plastic wrap to guide while applying gentle pressure.
- Slice into bite-sized pieces with a sharp, wet knife.
- Serve with extra whipped cream and fresh strawberries on the side.
