Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup jello (strawberry, raspberry, or lime)
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Pastel sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by lightly greasing it.
  3. Mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl. Beat until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake according to package instructions until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 30-35 minutes.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
  7. Poke holes all over the cooled cake using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  8. Prepare the jello according to package instructions and pour it over the poked cake.
  9. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  10. Spread the whipped topping over the cake and decorate with pastel sprinkles.
