Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the unsalted butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift in the flour and salt, alternating with the brewed coffee.
- Cook heavy cream, brown sugar, and salt in a saucepan until it caramelizes.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased baking dish, swirl in half of the caramel, then add the remaining batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
