- 1 ripe pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
- 4 cups cold or sparkling water
- 1/4 cup fresh mint or basil leaves

Instructions
- Prepare the fruits: Start by cutting the pineapple into bite-sized chunks. Hull the strawberries and slice them in half.
- Muddle the fruits: In a large pitcher, add the pineapple and strawberries. Using a muddler, gently press them down to release their juices.
- Add fresh herbs: Toss in a handful of fresh mint or basil leaves and muddle them slightly with the fruits.
- Combine with water: Pour in cold or sparkling water, filling the pitcher about three-quarters full. Stir gently to combine.
