Ingredients
- 1 lb Asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Lemon Juice, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse and dry the asparagus thoroughly, trimming off the tough ends.
- Toss the asparagus with olive oil in a large bowl until well-coated.
- Season generously with salt and pepper, then add minced garlic and toss again.
- Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Roast for about 10–15 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Add Parmesan cheese and return to the oven for another 2–3 minutes until melted.
- Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and optional fresh herbs.
Notes
For added flavor, consider tossing in red chili flakes or fresh herbs before serving.
