Ingredients

  • 1 lb Asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Lemon Juice, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse and dry the asparagus thoroughly, trimming off the tough ends.
  3. Toss the asparagus with olive oil in a large bowl until well-coated.
  4. Season generously with salt and pepper, then add minced garlic and toss again.
  5. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Roast for about 10–15 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and return to the oven for another 2–3 minutes until melted.
  8. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and optional fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, consider tossing in red chili flakes or fresh herbs before serving.
