Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring between intervals until smooth.
  3. Mix in granulated sugar, followed by eggs—one at a time—ensuring each is well incorporated before adding the next.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold this dry mixture into your chocolate batter.
