Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Wash and dice your tomatoes. Remove the seeds for a smoother salsa if desired.
- Add diced tomatoes to a mixing bowl.
- Finely chop your onion and garlic, then add to the tomatoes.
- Stir in chopped jalapeño and cilantro.
- Squeeze half a lime over the mixture, then add a generous pinch of salt.
- Taste and adjust lime and salt to preference.
- Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes to marry the flavors.
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, grilled chicken, or fish.
Notes
