- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup milk (dairy, almond, or oat)
- Sweetener to taste (honey, maple syrup, or agave)
Instructions
- Prepare the fruits: Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Slice them into halves or quarters. Peel and slice the banana.
- Blend it up: In your blender, combine the strawberries, banana, yogurt, and milk. If you’re using any sweeteners, add them now.
- Adjust consistency: Blend on high until everything is smooth. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk until you reach your desired texture. For a colder smoothie, toss in some ice cubes before blending.
- Taste test: Always take a moment to taste! You might want to add a bit more sweetener or even a splash of vanilla extract for an extra boost of flavor.
- Serve with love: Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses and serve immediately. Top with a few slices of strawberry or banana, or sprinkle on some granola for a delightful crunch.
