Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/3 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup fresh vegetables (bell peppers, snap peas, broccoli)
- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
- Juice of 1 lime or lemon
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp: rinse under cold water, then pat dry.
- Make the sauce: mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl.
- Cook the shrimp: heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for another minute.
- Add the sauce: pour over the shrimp and stir gently. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Cook the vegetables: add them to the pan and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve: spoon shrimp and sauce over rice or quinoa, garnish as desired.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve perfect caramelization of the shrimp.
