Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dish: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the mixture: In a large pot over medium heat, combine the corn syrup and sugar. Stir until dissolved and let it gently boil. Remove from heat and mix in the peanut butter.
  3. Combine with rice cereal: Pour in the rice cereal and stir until fully coated.
  4. Add butterscotch chips: Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth. Pour over the pressed mixture.
  6. Set and cut: Allow to cool then cut into squares or bars.
