Instructions
- Prepare the Carmelites: Clean them gently using a damp cloth and slice them into even pieces.
- Heat the skillet: Place a skillet over medium heat and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add minced garlic first, sautéing for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Cook the mushrooms: Add the Carmelites, stirring to coat, and cook for about 5–7 minutes until golden.
- Season: Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and add fresh herbs towards the end of cooking.
- Serve: Transfer mushrooms to a dish and garnish with additional herbs if desired.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking and achieve a nice caramelization on the mushrooms.
