A delightful dessert made with layers of creamy banana, luscious toffee, and a buttery biscuit base, topped with whipped cream.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 200g digestive biscuits (or graham crackers)
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 300ml heavy whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Make the toffee: Simmer the sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan for 30-40 minutes until thickened and caramel-colored, then cool slightly.
  3. Layer the pie: Spread the toffee over the crust and add a layer of sliced bananas on top.
  4. Whip the cream: Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then spread it over the banana layer.
  5. Finishing touches: Grate chocolate over the top, or drizzle with caramel if desired.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate for at least an hour, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas and ensure the biscuit base is firmly packed.
