A delightful blend of sweet and spicy flavors featuring tender chicken and vibrant broccoli, perfect for family gatherings.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Make the sauce by whisking together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the bowl, coating each piece. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Cook the broccoli in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  5. Cook the marinated chicken in the same skillet until golden, about 7-10 minutes.
  6. Combine and return the broccoli to the skillet, tossing gently and garnishing with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Serve warm over rice or noodles and enjoy.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of Sriracha. Tofu can be used as a vegetarian alternative.
