Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a bundt pan with butter and dust with flour.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and spices in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Combine dry ingredients with wet, alternating with milk until just mixed.
- Fold in rum, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare rum syrup by simmering sugar, water, and rum until dissolved.
- Cool for 10 minutes before inverting and drizzling with syrup.
