Deliciously chewy chocolate chip cookies that evoke warm memories and create joyful connections.

  • Total Time: 27 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in a separate bowl and gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor and prevent spreading.
