- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in a separate bowl and gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor and prevent spreading.
