A delightful blend of sweet and spicy flavors that transform salmon into a family favorite dish.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha or chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the salmon: Mix brown sugar, sriracha, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lime juice in a medium bowl. Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  3. Cook the salmon: Place marinated salmon on a lined baking sheet, skin-side down, and drizzle remaining marinade over the top. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Add freshness: Let the salmon rest for a minute, then top with freshly chopped cilantro or green onions.
  5. Serve with jasmine rice or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

Adjust the spice level according to your taste. Serve with lime wedges for an extra zing.
