Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sriracha or chili paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the salmon: Mix brown sugar, sriracha, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lime juice in a medium bowl. Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
- Cook the salmon: Place marinated salmon on a lined baking sheet, skin-side down, and drizzle remaining marinade over the top. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Add freshness: Let the salmon rest for a minute, then top with freshly chopped cilantro or green onions.
- Serve with jasmine rice or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
