Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, feta, egg, lemon juice, and zest in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties about ¾-inch thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Serve hot with tzatziki sauce or in pitas with fresh veggies.
