Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Mix the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, feta, egg, lemon juice, and zest in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into patties about ¾-inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve hot with tzatziki sauce or in pitas with fresh veggies.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep patties tender. Let them rest after cooking for juiciness.
