- 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan for easy release.
- Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Incorporate the limoncello and lemon zest.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour.
- Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Prepare the limoncello glaze by mixing powdered sugar with limoncello until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake, allowing it to soak in slightly.
