Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cheese (mozzarella and cheddar blend)
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Fresh or dried Herbs (parsley, oregano, basil)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté diced onions in olive oil until soft.
  3. Add minced garlic, then the ground beef, cooking until no longer pink (about 7-10 minutes).
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  5. Mix in half of the cheese and breadcrumbs.
  6. Shape the beef mixture into a log using plastic wrap or parchment paper.
  7. Bake the roll for 25-30 minutes, topped with remaining cheese.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
