Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Cheese (mozzarella and cheddar blend)
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Fresh or dried Herbs (parsley, oregano, basil)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté diced onions in olive oil until soft.
- Add minced garlic, then the ground beef, cooking until no longer pink (about 7-10 minutes).
- Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Mix in half of the cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Shape the beef mixture into a log using plastic wrap or parchment paper.
- Bake the roll for 25-30 minutes, topped with remaining cheese.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
Notes
Consider adding barbecue sauce on top before serving for extra flavor.
