- 4 cups tomatoes (canned or fresh)

Instructions
- Prepare the Soup Base: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent (5-7 mins). Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and broth; simmer for 15 minutes.
- Blend It Up: Use an immersion blender to blend the soup to your desired texture.
- Cream it Up: Stir in cream and cook for another 5 minutes, seasoning to taste.
- Prepare the Dumplings: In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cheddar. Stir in melted butter and milk to form a soft dough.
- Combine and Cook: Scoop dumpling dough into simmering soup, cover, and steam for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve and Share: Ladle into bowls, add dumplings, and garnish as desired.
