A delightful recipe for honey-glazed salmon with crispy skin, combining sweet and savory flavors for a perfect meal.

  • Total Time: 27 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and allow it to heat until shimmering.
  4. Sear the Salmon: Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down into the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes without moving them.
  5. Glaze and Finish: Gently flip the fillets over and brush some of the remaining marinade on top. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve: Remove the salmon from the skillet once cooked to your liking. Allow it to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with sautéed greens or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. Adjust ingredients based on preference or availability.
