Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Fresh Cranberries
- 1/2 cup Walnuts, toasted and chopped
- 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Fresh Chives or Parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: Wash the cranberries and remove any stems. Coarsely chop the walnuts and toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), honey (or maple syrup), and half of the cranberries in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the toasted walnuts and remaining cranberries, gently folding them in.
- Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least one hour to let the flavors meld.
- Serve the dip in a rustic bowl, garnished with fresh herbs, and enjoy with crackers, sliced fruit, or vegetables.
Notes
To achieve a smooth texture, warm the cream cheese slightly before mixing. Adjust sweetness to taste, adding honey or maple syrup gradually.
