Ingredients
- 4 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
- Melt the butter (or mix with olive oil) in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Lay the seasoned thighs skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the chicken, reduce the heat, sprinkle with ranch dressing mix and add minced garlic.
- Add a splash of chicken broth or water, cover the pan, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Squeeze lemon juice over cooked chicken and garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
Be careful not to overcook the chicken thighs. Use a meat thermometer for best results.
