Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
  2. Melt the butter (or mix with olive oil) in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Lay the seasoned thighs skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the chicken, reduce the heat, sprinkle with ranch dressing mix and add minced garlic.
  5. Add a splash of chicken broth or water, cover the pan, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over cooked chicken and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes
