Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix (or homemade brownie batter)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your heart-shaped baking pan by greasing it lightly.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to mix instructions or whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla for homemade.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared heart-shaped pan and smooth it out.
- Make the cheesecake filling by beating cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth, then spread it over the brownie batter.
- Add the raspberry puree over the cheesecake mixture and swirl gently for a marbled effect.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, taking care not to disturb the swirls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then allow to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Serve optionally warm, topped with additional raspberry puree or powdered sugar.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt and reduce sugar. Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
