Instructions
- Start by placing your eggs in a saucepan, covering them completely with cold water.
- Add a pinch of salt and a splash of vinegar to the water.
- Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Cover the pot, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for about 9-12 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool.
- Tap each egg against a hard surface to crack the shell and then peel from the wider end.
- Melt some butter and brush it over the eggs.
- Roll the eggs in Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Arrange your eggs on a platter and serve.
Notes
For milder flavor, substitute cayenne pepper with smoked paprika.
