Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Serve after letting it rest for a few minutes.
