Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Sauté the chopped bacon in the same skillet until crispy, then combine with the cooked ground beef.
- Cook the sliced mushrooms in the skillet until golden and fragrant.
- Mix the sautéed bacon and mushrooms, cooked beef, cream cheese, and spices in a large bowl. Stir in the beaten eggs.
- Layer the mixture into a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving to allow it to set.
Notes
Experiment with adding jalapeños for heat or cream cheese for creaminess. Letting the casserole rest enhances flavors and simplifies slicing.
