Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup natural sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar)
- 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut butter, or sunflower seed butter for nut-free)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the nut butter and sweetener until it forms a smooth paste.
- Add the rolled oats and baking powder, folding gently to combine.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for added sweetness. Do not overcrowd the pan while baking for an even bake.
