Wholesome and delicious banana oatmeal bars that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut butter, or sunflower seed butter for nut-free)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the nut butter and sweetener until it forms a smooth paste.
  4. Add the rolled oats and baking powder, folding gently to combine.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for added sweetness. Do not overcrowd the pan while baking for an even bake.
