Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix (yellow or funfetti)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semisweet or white)
- 1/2 cup festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix the cake mix, oil, and egg in a large bowl until you have a thick dough; then fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles gently.
- Bake the cookie bar dough in your prepared baking dish for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set but soft.
- Let cool completely in the pan, then lift out using parchment paper and cut into squares.
- Serve fresh from the oven or at room temperature, optionally paired with a scoop of ice cream.
