Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup pastel candies or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  4. Mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl, then gradually incorporate into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Incorporate the pastel candies or chocolate chips, folding gently.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
