Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes, cubed
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp ranch seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Optional: bell peppers or green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and cube the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Sauté the sliced smoked sausage in olive oil over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes, then add the minced garlic for the last minute.
- Mix together the sautéed sausage, cubed potatoes, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheese in a large bowl until well-coated.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender and golden.
- Serve warm and optionally top with chopped green onions or fresh herbs.
Notes
For a lighter version, use turkey sausage or add colorful vegetables.
