Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in yogurt, garlic, ginger, and spices for at least an hour.
- Sauté onions in melted butter until golden brown, then add garlic and ginger.
- Build the sauce by stirring in tomato puree and spices, simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Cook the marinated chicken in the sauce for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Finish with heavy cream and a pinch of sugar, simmer until thick and creamy.
- Serve with naan or basmati rice, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
