Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Mint Extract
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips (Semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the mint extract and chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil or vegan butter.
