A refreshing and nutritious treat for your furry friends, made with watermelon and yogurt.

  • Total Time: 135 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seedless watermelon, diced
  • 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt (or coconut yogurt for a dairy-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)
  • 1 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Prep the watermelon: Start by cutting your watermelon in half and scooping out the flesh, removing any seeds before dicing it into small pieces.
  2. Blend the diced watermelon and plain yogurt until smooth. If adding honey, mix it in now to sweeten the treat.
  3. Add the oats and stir in to create a kibble-like consistency.
  4. Mold the mixture into small, bite-sized kibbles using a scoop or your hands.
  5. Freeze the kibbles on a parchment-lined baking sheet until solid (about 2-3 hours).
  6. Serve the frozen kibbles to your pup and enjoy watching them munch!

Notes

These kibbles can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to three months.
