Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 32 oz Tater Tots
- 10.5 oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup Sautéed Mushrooms
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or blend)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Optional: Thyme, Oregano, Paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté diced onions and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until translucent.
- Add in ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning while cooking.
- Fold in sautéed mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup until well combined and heated through.
- Assemble in a greased baking dish: layer meat mixture, sprinkle cheese, then top with tater tots.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until tater tots are crispy and golden brown.
Notes
For best results, sauté the onions and garlic well, and cover the casserole for the first 20 minutes of baking.
