Ingredients

  • 2 cooked Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour (or almond/oat flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 Egg (or flaxseed meal with water as a substitute)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Water or Dog-Friendly Broth (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Cook the sweet potatoes until soft, about 30–45 minutes.
  3. Mash the sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add in one egg, peanut butter, and cinnamon. Mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour, stirring until a thick batter forms. Add liquid if needed.
  6. Pour batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
  7. Remove waffles and allow them to cool before serving.
