Homemade chew sticks made with ripe bananas and natural peanut butter, perfect for your furry friend.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 large egg (or flax egg)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until they’re smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
  4. Add the whole wheat flour and rolled oats. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Use cookie cutters to shape the dough or cut it into sticks or squares.
  7. Place the shapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Allow the chew sticks to cool completely before serving.

Notes
