Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 cup smoky BBQ sauce
- 2 sweet yellow onions
- 1 cup tangy dill pickles
- 8 slider buns (potato or whole wheat)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Flour for onions
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the patties: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix gently and shape into small patties.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, brushing with BBQ sauce in the last minute.
- Slice the onions thinly and toss in flour, salt, and pepper. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
- Assemble the sliders: On the bottom half of each bun, place a patty, BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and pickle slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, let the patties rest before cooking. Pair sliders with coleslaw or sweet potato fries.
