Delicious sliders featuring juicy beef patties, smoky BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and tangy pickles, perfect for summer barbecues.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup smoky BBQ sauce
  • 2 sweet yellow onions
  • 1 cup tangy dill pickles
  • 8 slider buns (potato or whole wheat)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Flour for onions
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the patties: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix gently and shape into small patties.
  2. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, brushing with BBQ sauce in the last minute.
  3. Slice the onions thinly and toss in flour, salt, and pepper. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
  4. Assemble the sliders: On the bottom half of each bun, place a patty, BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and pickle slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, let the patties rest before cooking. Pair sliders with coleslaw or sweet potato fries.
