Ingredients

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your baking sheet; line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the sugar, corn syrup, and salt, and stir until it starts to boil.
  4. Cook for about 3–5 minutes without stirring until it reaches a deep golden hue.
  5. Remove from heat and carefully stir in the nuts and vanilla.
  6. Quickly pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Allow to cool completely, preferably several hours or overnight, until hard. Once set, break into pieces.
