Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (beef and pork mix or alternative)
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together your ground meat, breadcrumbs, finely chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, diced onion, and beat the egg. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Prepare the cranberry glaze by heating cranberry sauce, a splash of vinegar, and herbs in a saucepan.
  7. Drizzle the cranberry glaze over the meatballs once they are done baking.
  8. Return to the oven for 5 more minutes.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
