Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, cashews)
- 2 cups pretzels (traditional and/or pretzel nuggets)
- 2 cups crunchy cereal (Corn Chex or Rice Chex)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mixed nuts, pretzels, and cereal; toss to mix.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, smoked paprika, and salt until combined.
- Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Allow to cool completely on the baking sheet before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
For a nut-free version, use more pretzels or seeds. Olive oil can replace butter for a dairy-free option.
