Crispy, flavorful Steak Fingers that are tender on the inside and golden brown on the outside, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Neutral oil (canola or vegetable) for frying

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the steak and cut it into strips about one inch wide.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and herbs and spices. Marinate steak strips for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Set up a breading station: one plate with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge the steak strips in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat about an inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the steak fingers for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs. Consider using chicken tenders for a different twist.
