Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • Fresh lemons
  • Fresh oranges
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh dill, parsley, or thyme
  • Minced garlic (or garlic powder)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut two large pieces of parchment paper, about 15 x 12 inches each.
  3. Place a salmon fillet in the center of each piece of parchment and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix softened butter with chopped herbs, minced garlic, and citrus zest. Spread this mixture over the salmon.
  5. Top each fillet with thin slices of lemon and orange.
  6. Fold the parchment around the salmon tightly, leaving space for steam to circulate.
  7. Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily.
  8. Carefully cut open the parchment and serve immediately.
