Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
- Fresh lemons
- Fresh oranges
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh dill, parsley, or thyme
- Minced garlic (or garlic powder)
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut two large pieces of parchment paper, about 15 x 12 inches each.
- Place a salmon fillet in the center of each piece of parchment and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with chopped herbs, minced garlic, and citrus zest. Spread this mixture over the salmon.
- Top each fillet with thin slices of lemon and orange.
- Fold the parchment around the salmon tightly, leaving space for steam to circulate.
- Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily.
- Carefully cut open the parchment and serve immediately.
Notes
You can prep the dish ahead of time and bake it just before serving. Experiment with different herbs for unique flavors.
