Ingredients
- 1 Butterball Turkey Breast (3 to 7 pounds)
- Olive Oil or Butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Remove packaging and giblets, and pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper; rub all over turkey.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the turkey and place lemon slices inside the cavity.
- Place turkey on a roasting rack in a pan and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, checking frequently.
- Baste the turkey with its own juices every 30 minutes.
- Check doneness with a meat thermometer (should read 165°F/74°C).
- Allow to rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
