- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
- Add in the orange zest and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the dried cranberries gently.
- Form dough balls and place them on the baking sheets, leaving space in between.
- Flatten the dough balls slightly using a fork or your palm.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For an even flakier texture, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
