Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the orange zest and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the dried cranberries gently.
  6. Form dough balls and place them on the baking sheets, leaving space in between.
  7. Flatten the dough balls slightly using a fork or your palm.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
