Delightful mini bites combining creamy brie, tart cranberry sauce, and flaky puff pastry – a perfect appetizer for both casual get-togethers and elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 cup brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten with a splash of milk (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 3-inch squares or circles.
  3. Place each pastry piece in a muffin tin to hold shape.
  4. Add a piece of brie and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of each pastry.
  5. Top with chopped fresh herbs.
  6. Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving on a platter.

Notes

You can assemble these bites ahead of time and freeze them before baking. Bake directly from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
