- 16 oz (450g) Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1 cup (240ml) Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Zest of 1 Lemon or Orange (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper, allowing for overhang.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth and airy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined after each addition.
- Slowly incorporate heavy cream, vanilla extract, and zest, mixing on low speed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is deeply caramelized.
- Let it cool in the pan for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Notes
Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with fresh fruit compote before serving for added freshness.
