Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with chicken broth until smooth, then pour over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and return it to the crockpot, stirring into the gravy.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight or adding chopped vegetables to the crockpot. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
