Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares or circles (about 4-5 inches across).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat, then stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Remove skillet from heat and stir in freshly grated Parmesan and chopped herbs.
  4. Spoon about one tablespoon of the beef mixture into the center of each pastry piece. Fold sides over to enclose filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Place the bombs seam-side down on a lined baking sheet. Brush each one with an egg wash. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
