Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz thinly sliced deli ham
- 8 oz shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyère)
- 2 tbsp mustard or pesto
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
- Spread mustard or pesto evenly across the puff pastry.
- Layer the ham slices over the pastry.
- Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the ham.
- Carefully roll the pastry into a tight log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and arrange them cut-side up on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
